Sometimes your business may require a certified public accountant to compile or review your financial statements. Whether required as part of a bank loan, to help ensure the reliability of accounting records, or just for owners internally to see how their business is performing, compilations and reviews can be a valuable service to track performance and set goals and forecasts.

At HEW, we can prepare compilation reports and complete reviews for you business on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis.

Compilations are merely a presentation of information provided by management and are used primarily for internal use. Analytical procedures are not performed, but obvious errors or misstatements identified by HEW can be addressed to management and corrected.

Reviews require a more advanced level of service than compilations. Reviews involve some analytical procedures of the company’s financials, and provide limited assurance on their reliability and accuracy. No opinion is expressed. Any modifications or misstatements are conveyed to management and corrected.

At HEW, we prepare both compilations and reviews in accordance with Statements of Standards for Accounting and Review Services issued by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
