Our History

Henderson Edwards Wilson, LLP (“HEW”) was formed when H. Glenn Henderson, Robert C. Wilson and Richard E. Edwards joined efforts to continue the practice founded in 1987. In January, 2007, Jim R. Evetts became a partner, bringing us to our current size of four partners, five professionals and three support staff. We are a Dallas-based certified public accounting and consulting firm with a staff of experienced accounting and financial professionals qualified to deliver quality service tailored to your business and individual needs. Over the last twenty four years, our growth has been planned carefully in order to accommodate our existing client base, and is expected to continue at a controlled rate. HEW offers the resources and expertise essential for managing a successful, profitable business in today’s dynamic economic environment. HEW provides traditional services, including financial statement preparation, tax planning and compliance. We also provide support in non-traditional areas such as Internal Revenue Service representation, estate planning, and valuation services. HEW is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has successfully completed the Small Business Practice Section quality review covering reviews and compilations. The firm is also a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Dallas Chapter of Certified Public Accountants. HEW, through its partners, is associated with the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, the American Society of Appraisers and the Institute of Business Appraisers.
